Session #2: Strategies for Increasing Success of All Students in the College Classroom

In the second session of the Neurodivergent Workshop Series, strategies and skills for college instructors and staff will be provided with discussion of specific ways attendees can incorporate these strategies seamlessly into their courses. This session will explain the difference between accommodations and modifications with specific examples of each in the college setting. This session will also discuss how instructors can increase their own comfort level working with neurodivergent students.

 

The presenters are four experts from the University of Cincinnati:

  • Lori Vincent, Assistant Professor, Health & Human Services
  • Kerri Wolfer, Program Coordinator, Transition & Access Services
  • Lisa Claypool, Program Coordinator, Transition & Access Services
  • Jason Harris, Adjunct Instructor, School of Social Work

 

Cost:

  • $25/session for faculty from a GC3 member institution. 
  • $50/session for faculty from a non-GC3 member institution.
