What Do I Do Now? Tips and Tactics for Engaging Teams Post-Covid

May 17

9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Steigerwald Hall @ Thomas More University

Three University of Cincinnati thought leaders will lead this interactive workshop in which we discuss what the research tells us about engaging teams.

  • Mike Wagner, PhD, Director, Master of Arts in Human Resources Program, Assistant Professor - Educator of Management, will describe how higher education and the workplace more broadly has changed post-covid and why we need to perhaps do things differently now.
  • Ely Awtrey, Assistant Professor of Management, will provide an overview of the research on teams and the psychological factors involved in workplace interactions.
  • Donna Chrobot-Mason, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology, will then discuss leadership and how individuals can role model and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusiveness even in virtual or hybrid work environments.

Finally, all three presenters will engage participants in small and large group discussions about the challenges they have noticed post-covid; what has worked, and not worked, in the workplace to engage others and foster team cohesion and commitment.
