GC3 Cross-Registration Program Overview
For 50 years, the Cross-Registration Program has enhanced learning for students across the region. Cross Registration allows eligible degree seeking students at any GC3 member school to register for and earn credit at another member school. Students pay for cross-registered courses as any other credit hours at their home institution, therefore applying to their full-time status. Grades earned through cross-registration are automatically reported to the Registrar’s office and added to the student’s record. The Cross-Registration Program gives students access to thousands of course sections to expand their curriculum, stay on track, and complete their degree requirements on time or even sooner.
Thousands of students have taken advantage of Cross-Registration over the decades. However, with staff and operational changes at the GC3 institutions, it seems many faculty and advisors are not aware the program exists. GC3 has scheduled seven 30-minute, virtual sessions on Thursday, March 20, 2025, to give you an overview of the GC3 Cross-Registration Program and answer any questions.
The sessions will cover:
- What is Cross-Registration?
- How it works.
- Where do I find information?
- How do I help my students?
