Sign up for fall classes at Gateway with Express Enrollment
Edgewood, Ky. (July 19, 2017) — Gateway Community & Technical College wants to make it easy to enroll in classes this fall by offering current and prospective students Express Enrollment opportunities July 24 - 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Edgewood Campus, 790 Thomas More Parkway.
During this event, prospective students may apply, complete orientation, sign-up for an advising appointment and receive information on financial aid and scheduling. The goal is to make the enrollment process as simple and as fast as possible.
Gateway offers in-person and online fall classes at three convenient campus locations and start times. The traditional 16-week class session and first 8-week class session begin Aug. 14, 12-week class session begins Sept. 11 and the second 8-week class session begins Oct. 11.

Gateway Community and Technical College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the associate degree. GCTC is Northern Kentucky’s only public, two-year comprehensive community and technical college, and its SACS accreditation has been reaffirmed through July 2023. SACS is a U.S. Department of Education-recognized agency that evaluates academic programs at two-year and four-year institutions to ensure the quality and acceptability of each institution. SACS accreditation means that Gateway students can transfer their course credits to four-year colleges and universities throughout the nation.
Gateway enrolls nearly 5,000 students and offers associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in 30 subject areas. Classes are provided at GCTC locations in Boone County, Covington, and Edgewood. Through partnerships with more than 400 local businesses, GCTC provides customized, short-term training to more than 3,000 other people.
